"NOTTE "
My name is Piero Perelli, I am a drummer, composer, sound explorer based in Tuscany, Italy.
In the last 15 years I’ve been touring and recording music around the world with artists such as Glen Hansard, Vinicio Capossela, Emma Morton and The Graces, Dana Fuchs, Paul Savoy A-ah, Luke Winslow King, Mace.
I’ve been creating more and more music for images, movies and theatre projects.
In recent years I collaborated with Eddie Vedder, Glen Hansard, Cat Power for the music of Sean Penn Movie, Flag Day.
With Don Antonio And The Graces we released our first band album, Colorama: the music was picked up by Netflix to be the sound of their Wanna show “Wanna – Fortune Seller”.
I'm also the drummer for the soundtrack of “L’italiano che invento l’America Sergio Leone” movie by Francesco Zippel featuring Quentin Tarantino, Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg and Clint Eastwood.
At the Moment I'm on tour with Glen Hansard and Vinicio Capossela.
After many projects as a band member and freelance musicians, I decided to work on my first solo album “Notte”.
It is a collection of emotions inspired by the night, the moment when the world takes a breathe, nature takes its space back and humans bring out their deepest feelings.

Like an ocean wave that overwhelms you and transports you at will.
Without the storm and rain life would cease to be, without realizing who you are, happiness cannot come to you.
