Piero Perelli, Italian Drummer/Percussionist, Sound Explorer, composer is a musical maverick whose skills stretch from free improvisation to film scores, cinematic sounds, into a soundscape of shamanic attitude.

His original style is grounded in his journey as a musical explorer, touring around United States, Europe, Africa, India with different bands, ended up in a residence in Los Angeles.

 

Over the past 20 years he has build collaborations with renowned Italian and international artists such as Glen Hansard, Eddie Vedder, Dana Fuchs, Vinicio Capossela,  Andrea Bocelli, Emma Morton, Luke Winslow King and many others.

 

His latest solo work, released on march 15 by Stellare and L’Amor Mio Non Muore Records, ranging from the infectiously hypnotic to complex abstractions and sheets of ambience, every step of the way it's an engrossing listen that shouldn't be missed.
